I'm still here (if you know me on Facebook you will know that I am telling the absolute truth, because I'm all over Facebook despite vague reports that Facebook is no longer cool).
The thing is, I don't blog at work anymore and when I get home I'm either doing other things or watching movies/tv on this computer. So that might mean I don't blog anymore at all. Which is sad. I still need to finish writing about the Year From Hell and the Aftermath; there is a lot I haven't said that I want to say.
The last six months have involved too many deaths, too little money, too little sleep, not enough snow (we got a lot, but not enough), my aging car, trying to figure out how to pay for big-possibly-career-changing symposiums without going into debt, some auditions, some sewing, some knitting, some crochet, lots of teaching in church, too much and not enough family time...so, you know, the usual stuff that keeps people busy. I've started some drafts that will eventually become Real Posts. I've done a lot of thinking, sometimes too much. I've reevaluated some stuff. I've put my winter clothes in space bags (and it's supposed to snow this week; oh well). I haven't gotten my summer clothes out yet. I'm listening for my baby nephew in the room down the hall from me. I got a new cat (her name is Grendel and I love her). I keep pricing new cars. I wore heels to work the other day. I'm trying to get into better shape. I'm debating a couple of auditions this month. I want to buy more jewelry. I just made an apron for a little girl I've never met.
I need to clean up the sewing room.
Again.
So. There you have it. I'm around. I'll write more soon.
